GIRL-CHILD AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

Many girls and women in Uganda live in extreme poverty and experience injustice just because they are girls and women, they have less access to property, income, justice and decision making all which keeps them experience injustice and poverty. DASF works to strengthen the capacity of all girls and women to meet their needs and claim for their rights through Girl-child and Women Empowerment Centre and other related initiatives. We work to engage girls, women and other stakeholders into a supportive environment to strengthen and empower them to live healthy and prosperous lives. We take actions to ensure girls and women have reasonable standards of living, access to decent work, public services, right to meaningful leisure and rest. We take actions to skill and provide safe places for girls and women to live healthy without poverty and injustice.
