HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AND SUPPORT PROJECT

Ddamulira & Sons Foundation works to conduct research on HIV/AIDS, prevent HIV/AIDS, empower, support and provide health care services to HIV/AIDS patients and their families.

According to United Nations Aids report in 2018, 1.4 million people are living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. The prevalence of HIV among adults aged 15 to 64 in Uganda is 6.2% that is 7.6 % among females and 4.7 % among male. We take actions to improve access to testing, treatment, counseling, care and support for all people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. We give hope and joy to children and people with HIV/AIDS in communities to promote well being and prolong life of HIV/AIDS patients.

We are working to bring effective ways to prevent HIV infections and eliminate HIV/AIDS through advocacy, prevention, care and treatment activities. We are committed to support and empower communities at risk of HIV by developing their abilities and capacities in comprehensive prevention through access to treatment, advocacy, education, support and training to improve their quality of life and reduce stigma and discrimination, providing free medication to people with HIV/AIDS in poor communities who do not have access to treatment and care.
