WATER IS LIFE AT DASF

Easy access to clean drinking water is essential in protection against disease.

DASF contributes to the fight against water scarcity: Innovative solar water pumps help people gain access to clean drinking water – even in the most remote areas. The solar pumps are designed to pump water from a depth of up to 100 m without additional operating costs (solar energy) even on cloudy days. They are designed for low maintenance and can be easily installed on site with local expertise.

This project is a solution for all people in developing countries like Uganda who lack access to safe, clean drinking water. In recent decades, the region has suffered from poor water infrastructure in rural and urban areas, which has led to severe water pollution in the region and caused widespread hunger and water shortages.
