Agriculture and Livelihoods

Most rural families depend on farming, yet low yields and poor markets keep them in poverty. Our agriculture program trains farmers in climate-smart practices that increase income and protect the environment. We teach improved seed selection, soil conservation, organic pest control, and water-efficient irrigation.

Special projects include cattle keeping, poultry and goat rearing for women’s groups, beekeeping for youth, and post-harvest handling to reduce losses. We connect farmers to markets so they sell at fair prices instead of being exploited by middlemen. Agriculture is not just about food — it is about business, and we treat it that way.
