Culture and the Creative Economy through Karibu Africa Festival

Culture is identity, and identity drives development. Karibu Africa Festival is our annual celebration of African Education, music, dance, art, fashion, and cuisine. But it is more than entertainment. The festival creates jobs for artists, vendors, and technicians and help us to raise funds for our programs. It attracts tourists, promotes local crafts, and gives youth a stage to showcase talent.

Why Karibu Africa Festival

Schools perform traditional dances, elders share oral history, and young designers display fashion made from local materials. Karibu Africa reminds us that development must also celebrate who we are. A community proud of its culture is a community confident about its future.
