Uganda’s forests, wetlands, and soils are under pressure, and our environment program responds with practical action. Every year we run large-scale tree planting campaigns with schools, churches, and local councils. We restore degraded wetlands and riverbanks, and train communities on sustainable charcoal and brick making alternatives.
Plastic waste management is another focus. We establish collection points, train youth on recycling, and run school competitions for the cleanest villages. Environmental education starts early — every St. Henry’s pupil plants trees and learns why conservation matters. Protecting nature is not an extra activity; it is survival.
